"Anyone can cook." This is the best line I have heard from the movie "Ratatouille". Of course you are not stupid enough not to know this movie since you're one of the writerz of this anonicook blogsite. Literally,this line has been used as website names of those who made or wanted to post series of recipes. And this is also a big part of my transforming life towards cooking.




My grandfather was a former ship cook. He was also known in town because of his gifted taste buds. My grandma told us that Tata (Grandpa) loved to eat in different restaurants and once he tasted delicious food,he will cook it the next day with the same taste as they had eaten it in the resto. He never used any measuring instruments just to be accurate;and we all really loved eating his dishes.


I knew then that cooking wasnt a talent. i thought it was just a gift or it runs through the blood. And it implanted in me the use of the secret ingredient which is,according to many, a ground and stepping stone toward success and fame of every food establishment. My tata proved them wrong. Just like what Michael Giacchino,he also told me,"Anyone can cook my child. Everyone eats so everyone has a chance to cook. Its just a matter of choice whether they would cook,learn to cook or not."


There's no such thing as secret ingredients. They are just the same no matter what you take them for use. It depends on the one that will cook them. An egg will still be an egg even if you boil it or saute it with garlic. The ingredients do not change,only their taste and presentation. The secret of any recipe is YOU,the master cook!
